Getting Ready to List Your Vehicle

Even while direct listings are being updated, you can prepare the details buyers will expect to see when the service returns.

For a motorhome or campervan, make a note of the make, model, year, mileage, berth, number of belted seats, engine size, transmission, MOT date, service history and habitation check records. For a caravan, include the berth, layout, MTPLM, MIRO, service history, included accessories and any recent repairs or upgrades.

Good adverts are clear, honest and specific. Buyers want to know the layout, condition, paperwork, included extras and whether there are any known faults. Taking clear photos now will also make the listing process quicker later.

Useful photos include the front, rear, both sides, cab, lounge, beds, kitchen, washroom, storage areas, tyres, control panel and any accessories such as solar panels, awnings, bike racks or reversing cameras.
